Carplus is the national charity promoting alternatives to private car use, and is funded by Transport Scotland to develop car clubs in Scotland. Car clubs are an enabler of behaviour change, providing options for people who want to give up their car and increase active travel. Using your local car club can allow staff members to leave their own car at home and commute via public transport or active travel, knowing they have access to a car if needed for business travel.
